Why use Johnson’s Season Spray?

We all know the problem of taking our little princess pooch out for a walk when she’s in season and she suddenly gets the unwanted attention of a male admirer. It’s a nuisance and can be distressing for your dog. That’s when the ‘Bitch Spray’ comes into its own. It will help to discourage any advances from male dogs by disguising the natural oestrus odour of a bitch.

We recommend using Johnson’s Season & Deodorant tablets as an added precaution.

Directions for use of Johnson’s Bitch Spray:

Shake the Johnson’s Bitch Spray can before use. Spray the can from about 30cm (12”). Apply a half-second spray to each side of the hind quarters, also under the hind legs and base of tail. Spray twice daily, particularly before exercise. Your bitch should be kept on a lead to avoid any undue risk. If possible, commence spraying two to three days before the Season starts and continue daily until several days after termination. It would also be helpful to spray around doors and gates of the house.

• The spray is highly flammable and should be kept away from temperatures exceeding 500C.
• Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
• Keep treated animals away from fires and other sources of heat for at least 30 minutes following spraying and until coat is totally dry.
• Keep can away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources.
• Unless you want an unwanted pregnancy on your hands, take all measures necessary to protect your bitch.
• The spray can be used together with Johnson’s Bitch and Deodorant tablets.
• This spray contains Eucalyptus and Citronella Oil.
• The spray is not suitable for use on cats.

Over Christmas, the web team at petplace will try to get your orders shipped to you as late as we can. Although 98% of our deliveries arrive within 1-3 working days; couriers are very busy this time of year and there could always be unforeseen delays.

You can click and collect from any of our stores over the festive week. The last guaranteed before Christmas delivery date is the 14th. If an item is out of stock and you continue to order we’ll attempt to get this to you as soon as possible as our suppliers have slowed or closed until the first week of January.

How Does Click & Collect Work?

Simply order and reserve your items online and select which store you want to collect from. When your order is ready, the store will contact you to confirm your order is ready for collection.

How Does Home Delivery Work?

Simply order your items online and our warehouse team will pick and dispatch your products quickly and securely with DPD. DPD will then notify you to let you know when they will be delivering your parcel.

How Long Will My Delivery Take?

Delivery is normally made within 2 working days of being dispatched.

We aim to get your order out to you as quickly as possible. If your order does not reach you after two/three days of ordering you can contact us on 01492 542662.

After your order has been dispatched we will send you a confirmation email which will include the tracking details of your parcel. If you would like a 1-hour delivery window on the day of delivery please make sure you add your mobile number to the order.
