The idea behind this wonderful invention stems back from the hissing sound that snakes and other insects and animals make to warn off predators. When your dog hears the hissing sound coming from the Pet Corrector, he will immediately stop in his tracks and refrain from doing whatever mischief he was getting up to. When he stops, make sure you reward him with a pat or a treat and he will soon realise that misbehaving doesn't get him a reward.
Do not spray the corrector directly at your pet and only use when your pet is misbehaving. It is preferable to treat one behaviour at a time. The Pet Corrector is ideal for using in the home and when out walking as its handy size enables it to be carried in a pocket or bag. If your dog becomes aggressive when approaching another dog on a walk, a quick squirt of the Corrector should distract your dog and warn him that his aggression is not acceptable. It could help prevent a very nasty situation developing.
