The handle has a soft, gentle grip offering added comfort next to your skin when taking your dog out for his daily walk. It also helps reduce hand fatigue ensuring a more pleasurable walking experience. The nylon tape retracts very smoothly with a wonderful gliding action. Attached to the lead is a stainless steel, anti-twisting heavy duty clip for attaching to a collar or harness which will not rust. The anti-twisting device prevents the lead from twisting when out on a walk which is very useful if you have an excitable dog that enjoys prancing around.

When around other people, animals or traffic, the lead needs to be shortened with the lead in the locked position so that more control is exercised over your dog. Also remember, your dog is able to travel in all directions, 360 degrees, not only forwards, so care must be taken when approaching people and other animals coming out of side paths and fast traffic on the road.

This lead is only to be used by a responsible person with an obedient dog and one that doesn’t exceed the weight limit for the particular sized lead being used.

Directions for use:

Always hold the lead by the gel handle, never by the tape. To stop your dog, use your thumb to push forwards the button located on top of the handle. To give your dog a bit more freedom again, pull back the button.

Christmas Schedule

Over Christmas, the web team at petplace will try to get your orders shipped to you as late as we can. Although 98% of our deliveries arrive within 1-3 working days; couriers are very busy this time of year and there could always be unforeseen delays.

You can click and collect from any of our stores over the festive week. The last guaranteed before Christmas delivery date is the 14th. If an item is out of stock and you continue to order we’ll attempt to get this to you as soon as possible as our suppliers have slowed or closed until the first week of January.

How Does Click & Collect Work?

Simply order and reserve your items online and select which store you want to collect from. When your order is ready, the store will contact you to confirm your order is ready for collection.

How Does Home Delivery Work?

Simply order your items online and our warehouse team will pick and dispatch your products quickly and securely with DPD. DPD will then notify you to let you know when they will be delivering your parcel.

How Long Will My Delivery Take?

Delivery is normally made within 2 working days of being dispatched.

We aim to get your order out to you as quickly as possible. If your order does not reach you after two/three days of ordering you can contact us on 01492 542662.

After your order has been dispatched we will send you a confirmation email which will include the tracking details of your parcel. If you would like a 1-hour delivery window on the day of delivery please make sure you add your mobile number to the order.
